On Friday January 12, 2018, the Sacred Heart University men’s hockey program will face-off against The College of Holy

Cross at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut; face-off is scheduled for 7:00pm. The Connecticut Hockey

Foundation, Inc. will be holding its annual fundraiser to support its mission of bringing the sport of hockey to participants of

all backgrounds, regardless of one’s ability, or limited resources.

Formed in August, 2016, the Connecticut Hockey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for profit organization, in memory of Jason

Pagni, a 1990 graduate of The Avon Old Farms School and Connecticut hockey icon who dedicated his life to advocating,

developing and touching the lives of numerous parents and players on all levels of the sport from youth hockey, high school,

prep school, college and the National Hockey League. Jason's passion was hockey, and his favorite expression was,

"Everybody Rides." Jason Pagni suddenly passed away on January 31, 2014 at the age of 43, leaving his loving wife and two

young daughters. The Connecticut Hockey Foundation, Inc. expects to award grants in Jason Pagni’s memory commencing

in the Spring or Summer of 2018.

hockey players reach their dreams.

donations from current professional hockey players whose lives Jason Pagni touched including signed NHL jerseys and

equipment, hockey game tickets, and non-hockey items including restaurant gift cards, and other unique donations, and

special surprises.

Proceeds from all $10.00 game tickets pre-purchased through the Connecticut Hockey Foundation will directly go to the
